Biography
Seattle's 10 Minute Warning, though their first run proved brief, earned lasting credit as a formative force behind the grunge explosion that later defined the city. Following their 1984 breakup, wider notice arrived once bassist Duff McKagan achieved global fame inside Guns N' Roses. After parting ways with G N' R in the mid-'90s, McKagan came back to Seattle and reassembled 10 Minute Warning alongside the group's founding guitarists Paul Solger Dana and David Garrigues plus drummer Greg Gilmore. With Christopher Blue brought in as the new singer, the lineup secured a deal with Sub Pop and delivered its self-titled debut album in 1998.
