Biography
In 1977 vocalist Tatsuya Umehara and guitarist Satoshi Hirorse launched a Japanese heavy metal outfit. Bassist Hironori Yoshikawa and drummer Satoshi Miyawaki later joined, enabling the group to endure years overshadowed by more prominent domestic acts such as Loudness, Earthshaker and Bow Wow. A recording contract finally materialized in 1982, resulting in the release of debut album Danger the next year. Although the playing proved competent, the songwriting and overall approach remained too clearly derivative of British and American bands including Van Halen, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin.
