Biography
Though Zephyr achieved recognition ahead of them, 60,000,000 Buffalo matched that visibility throughout Colorado across the 1970s. The groups performed together repeatedly, fostering a good-natured vocal rivalry between Judy Roderick and Candy Givens. Original songs, inventive arrangements, and Don Debacker's guitar playing defined the band's sound. After delivering Nevada Jukebox—the sole completed project under a two-album deal with Atco—the members disbanded. Their work captures the relaxed, groove-driven character of Rocky Mountain rock & roll from that decade.
