Biography
In 1998, Abercrombie independently issued their debut album @ and thereby presented a batch of punky, guitar-based standards that fused weight with melody. Although the band had assembled during that same year, the roster only coalesced the next year around Derek Phillips (vocals/guitar/keyboards), John Key (drums), Erik Phillips (guitar), and Cordell Crockett (bass), the latter two having previously belonged to Ugly Kid Joe. Abercrombie then delivered their sophomore effort Comeback Kids in October 1999.
