Biography
In 1991, Greg Asher, handling vocals and harmonica, teamed up with guitarist Matt McCabe in Northern California to launch Able Cain as a contemporary Christian alternative rock band. Drawing from the Police, the Fixx, and King Crimson, the lineup grew into a five-piece with the arrival of Eric Schrepel on keyboards, Jordan Reading on bass, and Leo Gunther on drums. Eric Foster contributed to the group’s debut CD EP before departing soon afterward. Able Cain also appears on the Mootown label compilation Tastes Like Chicken.
