Biography
Absyntho ranked among the pioneering acts to gain traction during the Brazilian rock surge of the 1980s, yet registered success with only one release, the single “Meu Ursinho Blau Blau” (Paulo Massadas/Sérgio Diamante), whose sales reached 350,000 copies. Their recording “Balanço do Trem” later appeared on the widely watched television program fronted by Xuxa.
