Biography
Hailing from Puerto Rico, the acoustic rock quintet formerly called la Cosa took shape in 1999 under the name Abuelo Mundo. Its inaugural live appearance occurred at an Orocovis bar of the same name, which supplied the inspiration for the ensemble’s revised identity. The next year brought the release of a six-song EP titled Lo Que Son las Cosas.
