In the early 1990s, Adam Marsland shared a California rehearsal facility with three fellow musicians. After several short-lived projects collapsed, those same musicians formed a single group in February 1994. That ensemble became the pop/rock outfit Cockeyed Ghost, which issued four studio albums and one rarities collection spanning 1996 to 2001. During its run the band performed alongside Redd Kross, Fastball, and Third Eye Blind. With the arrival of Ludlow 6:18, Marsland chose to step aside from the collective and launch a solo career. After logging roughly two hundred concerts between Los Angeles and New York, he issued his first solo record, 232 Days on the Road, through Karma Frog. Captured on the closing date of the 8000 Consecutive Days on the Road Tour, the album earned acclaim for blending fresh material with selections from his earlier band’s catalog. Additional credits include sessions with the Negro Problem and opening slots for Glenn Tilbrook.
