Biography
Born and raised in Allentown, PA, Adam Richman acquired command of guitar and piano well before his teenage years while already capturing his own performances via computer. His ongoing refinement of those abilities prompted him to leave college behind and commit to music on a full-time basis. Not long afterward he began crisscrossing the country, appearing at campuses and assembling a fan base. Although his first official release was the 2001 acoustic album Two, the 2004 Patience EP and the subsequent Patience and Science—tracked entirely on his own inside his parents’ basement—constituted his initial widely available recordings. Both projects appeared on Or Music, the independent New York label.
