Adamé

Alternative rock outfit A fuses punk edge, ethereal Moog synthesizer textures, and guitar-driven Britpop with irreverent, adolescent wit. The band first surfaced in 1997 via the album How Ace Are Buildings, yet its initial broad American exposure arrived with the 2000 effort A vs. Monkey Kong. Following promotional touring, the set generated limited impact, prompting an early return to the studio. The outcome, Hi-Fi Serious, adopted a brighter, more forceful approach and surfaced during summer 2002.
