Biography
Biarent, affiliated with the Walloon school, completed his training in Ghent and Brussels. Harmony instruction at the Academy of Music in Charleroi formed the focus of his teaching career. Chamber pieces, vocal compositions, and orchestral scores number among his works, with Poème héroïque serving as one such orchestral example.
