Biography

Aeon, a Swedish death metal outfit, came together in Östersund during 1999. Their opening statement arrived with the 2001 Dark Order EP, presenting an unusually ferocious, technically accomplished, and rapid-fire approach to the genre. Two subsequent full-length efforts arrived in the form of 2005’s Bleeding the False on Unique Leader and 2007’s Rise to Dominate through Metal Blade. The lineup consists of Tommy Dahlström on vocals, Daniel Dlimi and Zeb Nilsson handling guitar duties, Max Carlberg on bass, and Nils Fjellström at the drums. Extensive road work has confirmed their capabilities, drawing supporters through unyielding live delivery and remarkable instrumental command.
