Aftershok

Originating from Cleveland, Ohio, vocalist Vic Hix fronted multiple hard rock and heavy metal cover bands in his hometown before establishing Aftershok in 1997. Guitarist George Mihalovich, drummer George B., and bassist Nick Griska rounded out the group, whose influences from Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Ronnie James Dio shaped both the quartet's membership and its overall sound. Toward the close of 2000, Aftershok independently issued its debut full-length album, Unfinished Business.
