Biography
Age of Mirrors originated in 1985 when singer and guitarist Bob Bryden, also known as Simon De Beaupre, assembled the lineup and recruited Michael Allen Guild on drums. Guild had previously collaborated with Bryden in Benzene Jag, a band that essentially evolved into Age of Mirrors that year after shedding several members during the transition. The newly formed group issued its first album, Mirage, in 1985 as well. Two further releases followed in 1987 before the band dissolved. Bryden maintained his musical pursuits afterward, producing several solo albums and collaborating with additional groups over the ensuing years.
