Biography
Agnes Pihlava, a vocalist born in Poland, first drew notice by finishing fourth in Finland’s edition of the televised singing contest Pop Idol. Her commanding and seductive delivery as a performer recalls the classic hard rock sound of Heart, Pat Benatar, and the Scorpions. Under the single name Agnes she issued her debut album, When the Night Falls, through Sony BMG in 2007.
