Biography
Formed during the mid-1970s, this fusion and light bop group earned respect yet disbanded after a short run. Its sole East Wind release, Fly On, presented eight agreeable selections. Among the participants stood trombonist Bruce Fowler, keyboardist Stu Goldberg, and Steve Fowler, who covered flute and alto saxophone. Walt Fowler handled trumpet and miraphone, Albert Wing played soprano and tenor sax, Mike Miller contributed guitar, and Ed Fowler along with Tom Fowler supplied electric bass.
