Biography
Collaborations between marimbist Andrea Dulbecco and vibraphonist Luca Gusella operate under the Aisha Duo banner; these Italian musicians first joined forces after sharing a percussion class at the Conservatory of Milan. Their initial ObliqSound release, the aptly titled Quiet Songs issued in 2005, presented eight interpretations drawn from Chick Corea's Children's Songs along with Ralph Towner's Beneath an Evening Sky and several originals. The sessions took place inside a seventeenth-century church.
