Akilles

Although Akilles did not officially come together until late 1999, the group’s origins trace back to 1994 and encompass repeated alterations in both personnel and nomenclature. Operating from Gothenburg, Sweden, and shaped by the influence of Yngwie Malmsteen, the roster of Frozen on guitar, Maniac on vocals, Robin on drums, Niemi on bass, and Mr. Violence on guitar first performed under the names Nasty and Demigod before adopting Akilles. Following that decision, the band independently issued its self-titled debut EP in April 2000.
