Biography
Al-Doe delivers hard-edged rhymes as an independent rapper whose influences trace back to fellow Latino Bronx natives Fat Joe and Big Pun along with additional New York acts that surfaced throughout the '90s, ranging from the Lox to Cam'ron. Modeling and acting credits, among them minor parts in the television movie Thicker Than Blood plus episodes of As the World Turns and Law & Order, once occupied his schedule, yet he ultimately channeled the bulk of his energy into rhyming, a skill refined throughout his late teens. The self-designated "pope of coke talk" issued early projects such as the full-length Nose Candy (2012) and the seven-track Keys of Heaven (2014); the combative rapper kept sharpening his craft through further releases that encompass the 2017 Benito collaboration mixtape 2 of a Kind as well as the DJ Drama-presented Legends of the Lobby tape from the same year. Smoke DZA, Dave East, and 600 Breezy have placed Al-Doe on their tracks, while those same MCs have in turn shown up on his own recordings.
