Biography
French pop singer and songwriter Alain Manaranche issued four albums from 1989 through 1995. His first recording came in 1984 via the single "Chercher la Nuit." Subsequent singles appeared on Emma in partnership with Carrère, namely "Drole de Vie la Vie" in 1985, "Deux Marins et Moi" in 1986, and "Les Oiseaux Sans Ailes" in 1987. His initial full-length release arrived in 1989 as Les Mots Dits through Polydor. Featured on this album were the singles "Colle-Moi Loulou" and "Berlin Chansonnette," each co-authored with Jean Schultheis. Sentiment followed in 1990 and yielded tracks such as "Histoire d'Amour," "Carry On," and "Mais Ma Madeleine." Two additional albums emerged afterward, Dans le Vent in 1992 and Un Enfant Reve in 1995, after which he disappeared from the scene.
