Alejandro de Rosas

In 1986 Chilean singer Alejandro de Rosas first entered the entertainment world by taking first place in the Gente Nueva music contest on the Sabados Gigantes television program presented by Don Francisco. The next year brought his debut single, "Huracán," and the full-length Aventura, which Scottie Scott produced. Third place at Colombia’s Buga Festival in 1988 preceded the recording of his second album, Intimo, helmed by Horacio Saavedra. The self-titled set issued in 1991 firmly established Alejandro de Rosas on the domestic circuit when APES, the Journalists Association, named the hit "No Quiero Verte Asi" Song of the Year and simultaneously honored him as Best Performer of the Year. Following his signing with CNR, he resurfaced in 1996 with Diez Años Mejor.
