Biography
Prior to committing himself to music, Alex Wise, the San Francisco-based singer and songwriter, worked as a media executive in both the U.S. and Japan. He also serves as guitarist for the funk ensemble Shreep, carrying forward the second-line tradition rooted in his New Orleans origins. His debut, the folky swamp-pop album Front Porch, appeared in 2003.
