Alexis Spight

Alexis Spight, a vocalist in contemporary gospel, weaves dance music and soulful R&B into her style. She was born in Buffalo, New York, and as a child sang regularly with her sisters inside the church pastored by her father. During adolescence she also traveled with those same siblings as members of the family vocal group the Spight Sisters. In 2012, at age 19, she won BET’s gospel-oriented reality vocal competition Sunday Best. Her debut album, L.O.L. (Living Out Loud), appeared in 2013. In 2015 she issued the single “All the Glory,” produced by Travis Malloy.
