From an early age, Uruguayan singer and songwriter Alfredo Pereira immersed himself in music through performances at various local festivals, where he both sang and played guitar, before relocating to New York in 1990. Following journeys across Europe, he collaborated with Jorge Graf and Hugo Fattoruso on his debut album, Tren De Vida, which came out in 1993, and this was succeeded by Bolero!, an effort recorded over four months in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and New York.
