Biography
Infused with her Mexican Indian and Latino roots, Alice Gomez produces distinctive recordings featuring her performances on guitar, synthesizer, percussion, and vocal chants. As composer-in-residence for the San Antonio Symphony, she has written multiple orchestral and chamber pieces grounded in the Latino/Indian traditions of the Southwest. Her three albums appear on the Talking Taco Music label in San Antonio, Texas.
