Biography
Formed in New York as a seven-piece pop/rock outfit, Alive and Kicking featured lead vocalists Pepe Cardona and Sandy Toder at the helm. The group reached the number seven spot on the charts in 1970 via the single "Tighter, Tighter," co-written and produced by Tommy James. In time the band adjusted its name to Alive 'n Kickin'. Among its members was Bruce Sudano, who later performed with Brooklyn Dreams and became the husband of Donna Summer.
