Alla Xul Elu

Hailing from Ohio, the Midwestern American horrorcore trio Alla Xul Elu surfaced in the early 2010s, shaping their approach after veteran horror-rap acts including Twiztid, SyCkSyDe, and the Flatlinerz. Billy Obey, Joe Black, and Lee Carver—longtime Juggalos and devotees of H.P. Lovecraft alongside the Evil Dead franchise—comprise the group, which delivered its independent debut album Head of Horns together with the follow-up Sci Co, Vol. 1 during 2015. Their 2017 concept LP Necronomichron, built around weed and Cthulhu motifs, drew interest from horrorcore heavyweight Majik Ninja Entertainment, prompting the label to sign the trio the following year and issue their fourth long-player Almighty.
