Biography
Trained in piano and composition by Marmontel, Bazin, and Barbereau, Duvernoy went on to produce a body of work that ranged across the stage, the chamber, and mixed orchestral-vocal forms. His symphonic poem “La tempete” earned the City of Paris prize, and these varied scores reflect the breadth of his creative activity.
