Biography
Emerging in San Francisco during 1992, Ambient Temple of Imagination blended the identity of an ambient-trance collective with that of holistic healers centered on listening music, brought into being by Richard Sun and Seofon to function initially as a dedicated chill-out room amid regional rave gatherings. In the years that followed, once ambient-house gained wider acceptance throughout dance music, Sun kept staging ambient nights that supplied options beyond the dance floor. The pair also turned to recording, issuing Mystery School and Sonic Acupuncture on San Francisco's Silent Records. Captured live during a 1997 rave, Planetary House Nation appeared the next September.
