Biography
Amen, the neo-metal band, came together in Los Angeles during 1994 when vocalist Casey Chaos teamed with guitarist Paul Fig. Drummer Shannon Larkin, formerly of Ugly Kid Joe, later joined and recruited ex-Snot guitarist Sonny Mayo. After the 1998 passing of Snot frontman Lynn Strait, bassist John "Tumor" Fahnestock from that act also entered the Amen lineup. The resulting group signed with I Am Records, a new Roadrunner imprint, in early 1999. Their self-titled debut LP appeared later that year, followed by the sophomore album We Have Come for Your Parents in fall 2000.
