Biography
Beyond her ministry of song across multiple Los Angeles houses of worship, vocalist Ami Rushes delivers spiritual messages through performance. She has been featured on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel and maintains regular involvement with the yearly Gospel Music Workshop of America gathering. In 2006 her debut release, Covering, came out, directing thirty percent of its proceeds toward the Save Africa's Children organization and its work against the HIV/AIDS crisis throughout Africa.
