Biography
Although Ana Mercedes, a singer and songwriter, entered the world and grew up in New Jersey, she eventually made her home in Miami, Florida. Drawing inspiration from her Latin roots and shaped by the sounds of Tex-Mex performer Selena along with Chilean pop balladist Myriam Hernández, she began performing easy listening songs in Spanish and issued her debut album, Natural, during 2000.
