Biography
Prior to her emergence as a late-'90s musician, graphic artist, performance artist, and multimedia cyber babe, Ana Voog performed as Rachel Olsen, the frontwoman of the all-female '80s alt-pop band the Blue Up?. After that Minneapolis group's 1995 breakup, the native artist began presenting her distinctive creative vision, one patterned on the sexual performance art of Annie Sprinkle. Aided by Prince and the Revolution drummer Bobby Z., she joined Radioactive/Wasteland Records (MCA) in 1996 and launched her personal live-cam website the next year. Bobby Z. also helmed her first solo release, Ana Voog.Com, issued in 1998.
