Biography
Born in Puerto Rico, Analena spent her childhood in Florida immersed in Latin pop and the recordings of Mariah Carey, an influence that guided the formation of her personal vocal approach. At age 18 she moved to New York City and began working toward a pop career alongside multiple producers, eventually launching her own SouLatin Productions to oversee marketing and production of her projects. In 2001 she settled in Texas so she could devote greater attention to SouLatin while completing work on her debut album.
