During downtime away from Blowzabella, Paul James—born 4 April 1957 in Southampton, Hampshire, England, and handling bagpipes plus saxophone—teamed with Nigel Eaton, born 3 January 1966 in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England, and devoted to the hurdy gurdy. The pair fused electronics and mixers with French dance tunes, yielding the club hit ‘Raining (My Eyes Are Filled With Clouds)’ that showcased vocals by ex-Monsoon singer Sheila Chandra. Cooking Vinyl Records put out their only album before the two returned to Blowzabella.
