Biography
Andrea Florian took on assorted temporary work as she pursued her artistic and musical interests. The affable and skilled singer/songwriter issued her first record, Truths, on Bathsheba Records in 1996 at age 22. That release earned spins on numerous college stations across the country and reached the airwaves of select U.S. outlets. Although she had planned only an EP under her own imprint, the project expanded into the full-length album Only Human. The record charted in several Canadian cities as Florian appeared at various music showcases. Her third album, Somehurrygood, arrived in 1998. Her songs have appeared in both television and film, and she has staged benefit concerts while directing portions of her album proceeds toward assorted charities and social causes. ~ Jason MacNeil
