Biography
Born in Ireland in 1974, Andrew Maxwell launched his career as a comedian and television performer in 1992. After his debut at a neighborhood pub, he rose swiftly to prominence across the British Isles through early support appearances alongside established acts. His profile expanded further when he joined the revived Secret Policeman’s Ball lineup in 2006. Television credits soon followed, including spots on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Peter Kay’s Sunday Show. He maintained steady visibility through the weekly live revue Fullmooners, a London-based troupe that toured with Simon Pegg and Russell Brand. In 2007 he became a regular contributor to the popular RTE topical comedy series The Panel.
