Biography
Since the 1960s Andy Belling, occasionally listed in credits as Andrew Belling, has sustained a career that spans three distinct areas. Within rock he has worked steadily as a session musician alongside the Kingston Trio (on their strangest record, Somethin' Else), Dillard & Clark, Linda Rontadt, Rick Nelson and the early version of the Stone Canyon Band, Ann Peebles, Scott Dreier, and David Castle, among many others. He has also earned recognition as a leading composer and arranger for both television and film, supplying incidental music for series as varied as Grizzly Adams and Happy Days while writing the scores for Zoltan, Hound of Dracula, the IMAX production Neighbors, and the animated features Wizards and Starchaser: Legend of Orin, among additional motion pictures. In addition he has composed and arranged children’s songs, contributed to series such as Sing Me A Story, With Belle, and issued two CDs devoted to children’s material.
