Biography
Despite the considerable renown achieved by his older brother Thom Yorke through Radiohead, singer/songwriter Andy Yorke has established himself as a capable artist independently. Entering the world in 1972, he first gained attention as a member of Unbelievable Truth, the Brit-pop outfit that secured a short-lived presence on the U.K. charts in the closing years of the 1990s. Following the band’s release of its concluding album in 2000, Yorke enrolled once more at university and began laying the groundwork for work under his own name. His debut solo release, Simple, appeared in 2008.
