Biography
Forming a New Age ensemble called Angels of Venice, harpist Carol Tatum joined keyboardist Joanne Paratore and flutist Laura Halladay, supported by percussionists Christopher Pellani and Derek Zimmerman. The trio launched its career with performances on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, California, where a loyal local audience quickly developed. After issuing the independent albums Music for Harp, Flute and Cello and Awake Inside a Dream, and after contributing to several compilations, Angels of Venice joined the Windham Hill roster for its self-titled 1999 label debut.
