Biography
Since her early teens Angela Fisher, also known professionally as Angie Fisher, has worked steadily as a performer, supplying background vocals on tour and in the studio for a wide range of acts. High-profile artists who have employed her include Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, and Rod Stewart. Her solo recordings eventually drew the attention of Steve McKeever at Hidden Beach Recordings, resulting in a deal with the label that once served as home to Jill Scott. The imprint released her debut single, the bluesy retro-soul number “I.R.S.,” in 2014; production was handled by B. Slade.
