Biography
Angie Heaton, an indie rocker, first emerged through Corndolly, the short-lived trio formed in Urbana, Illinois. After the band's self-titled debut LP appeared posthumously in 1995, she joined Liquorette and contributed to the album While You Work, I Sleep, before stepping out on her own with the 1996 solo release Calamities and Restitution. Her follow-up effort, Sparkle, arrived in 1998. Heaton resurfaced in 2004 with Let It Ride on Parasol. Three years after that came The Rumor Mill, which spotlighted her Gentle Tamers band.
