Biography
In 2001 Southern California's Annihilation Time came together. The group spent the bulk of the next year sharpening its hybrid hard rock and hardcore approach through party gigs and frequent instrument swaps among members. A stable roster finally emerged with vocalist Fred Hammer, lead guitarist Graham Clise, rhythm guitarist Jamie Sanitate, bassist Chris Grande, and drummer Tony Melino, allowing the band to lay down its self-titled debut before the year ended. Subsequent lineup shifts installed Jimmy Rose on vocals and Shaun Filly on rhythm guitar ahead of the 2003 EP Bad Reputation, whose title referenced the Thin Lizzy classic covered on the record. Manic Ride issued Annihilation Time in 2004, with the follow-up Annihilation Time II arriving the following year.
