Biography
Rob Wacey, an English producer and songwriter, leads the alternative rock and electronic project apatternimperfect. Earlier stints in multiple bands across London and Kent prompted him to develop and record independent material, motivated by the rigorous approach of creators such as Prince and Trent Reznor. The resulting tracks address anxiety, love, yearning, and self-improvement through an array of sounds that incorporates throbbing rhythms, searing guitar lines, and understated atmospheric textures. The debut two-track single "Hooks/Shiver" appeared in December 2018, followed by the Some Kind of Abstraction EP in February 2019. The single "For You" surfaced the month after.
