Biography
Arbitrage came into being in Washington State back in 1988 when Ross Assink teamed up with Ernie Pratt to create a classic hard rock outfit. Following Pratt's departure a year later, Assink pivoted toward an industrial-metal aesthetic incorporating dense guitar work and sampling techniques. A set of demo recordings preceded his three self-released albums, namely Music for the Sacrifice, The Healing Power of Death from 1992, and Propitiation Complete: The Shedding of Deity's Blood issued in 1994, while he simultaneously pursues the industrial-noise endeavor Citadel of Susa alongside spouse Monica.
