Biography
Ari Shine, the indie rock singer and songwriter, launched his recording career with the 2006 EP Age/Occupation. Praise from Time Out and The Village Voice spurred an intensive touring regimen that cultivated followers throughout the United States and overseas. In tandem with receiving a John Lennon Songwriting Contest award for co-writing Gaby Moreno’s “Escondidos,” his songs appeared in Veronica Mars, Kyle XY, Viva La Bam, and Dance Life. Canada’s Bongo Beat Records put out his debut full-length, A Force of One, in July 2007.
