Arianna Neikrug, recognized for her crisp voice and precise lyricism, first drew listener attention by securing the top prize at the 2015 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. In the aftermath of that achievement, she delivered her debut full-length recording, the 2018 album Changes, through Concord Music.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Neikrug absorbed diverse musical influences as a child, ranging from R&B and Motown classics to folk, jazz, and pop. Following high school, she sharpened her technique by enrolling at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Her 2015 graduation coincided with early professional recognition, highlighted by an Outstanding Soloist award in the college division of the Next Generation Jazz Festival. She also competed that year in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and ultimately placed first, which brought a recording contract with Concord Music.

As an independent artist, Neikrug has received acclaim for performances across multiple continents, among them engagements at Birdland in New York City, Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles, and the 2016 International Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada. Her Concord debut Changes, issued in 2018, incorporated contributions from Grammy-winning pianist and producer Laurence Hobgood.
