Biography
Arielle blends country-rock, folk, and blues elements into her distinctive singer/songwriter pop shaped by 1970s influences, while maintaining an extensive and varied career as a guitarist. Her professional highlights include multiple tours alongside CeeLo Green, regular appearances as a guitarist on the television series Nashville, and a part written specifically for her by Brian May—one of her foremost guitar influences—in the West End production of We Will Rock You.
New Jersey is her birthplace, though she spent most of her upbringing in California, where she began performing at age five as a member of the Peninsula Girls Chorus of California. Piano and trumpet lessons preceded the gift of her first guitar at ten, and by high school her rock & roll proficiency had already drawn notice, leading her to complete studies at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.
Her first onstage collaboration with CeeLo Green occurred at Coachella in 2011, after which she secured a recording contract with Open E Entertainment. Working with the producer/songwriters of Red Decibel Music Group, she issued the California EP on that label in 2014; the following year she independently released the full-length album The Whale. A second stint touring with Green preceded her move to Nashville in early 2016. Interim appeared in January 2017 and Interim II followed in May, while September brought the My Gypsy Heart EP, whose title track featured Eric Johnson, whom she also supported on tour that year.
From her personal studio space she maintained a rapid release schedule, issuing the Mind Lion EP in February 2018 shortly after launching another national tour in support of Johnson. The EP marked her first appearance on Billboard charts, entering the Top 20 for independent albums and reaching number four on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
