Biography
Art Decade, the Boston collective whose moniker derives from an instrumental piece on David Bowie's Low, emerged in 2008. Built around Berklee School of Music alumnus Ben Talmi, serving as guitarist, vocalist, and arranger, together with Canadian bassist Binod Singh, the ensemble produces expansive, anthemic indie rock marked by prog leanings and orchestral flourishes that recall Muse and the Mars Volta. Two EPs appeared that year, paving the way for the well-received debut full-length Western Sunrise in 2011; the ambitious single "No One's Waiting" followed in 2013 and preceded the self-titled sophomore LP issued in early 2014.
