In addition to his solo work, he serves as both duet partner and husband of Ludmila Berlinskaya, with whom he performs in concert and makes recordings. Ancelle also works actively as an arranger, producing two-piano versions of Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and Francesca da Rimini, and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and Cinderella. His Melodiya releases include albums devoted to solo piano music by Chopin, Dutilleux, and Haydn.
